Interprefy provided remote simultaneous interpretation in 5 languages for the global kickoff of a series of workshops to empower women in the workplace. #### The Challenge ## Finding an all-in-one & inclusive solution for their international meeting Within just 5 days of the launch of their Women for other Women Program, UCT needed to find a new platform that could accommodate over 100 participants and offer remote simultaneous interpretation. “As a global manufacturing company, we were challenged to find a solution to better communicate in real-time and in different languages with our employees around the world. We are an inclusive and diversified company launching a program to empower women, and we wanted to do it in a way that aligned with our core values to ensure our employees would receive the message in their preferred language". Says Rhonda Bennetto, Senior Vice President of Investor Relations & Communications for UCT. #### The Approach ## Interprefy Connect Pro RSI platform, project management & interpreters sourcing For the global kickoff— held as fully virtual fireside chats—Interprefy provided its [Connect Pro](https://www.interprefy.com/interpreter-services/connect-pro) multilingual platform with remote simultaneous interpretation capabilities, and project management support prior to and during the event. Interprefy also found the interpreters for Mandarin, Malay, Czech, Russian, and Hebrew through their Language Service Provider partner, Interprenet. **We reached out to Interprefy and they solved our problem immediately by enabling seamless cross-functional collaboration from one easy-to-use platform for live, real-time meetings in multiple languages, Rhonda explains. #### The Outcome 150 UTC employees from around the world attended the virtual fireside chats for 2 days with interpretation in 5 languages. The ease with which Interprefy connected our teams was phenomenal and we wouldn’t have been able to quickly set ourselves up for success without them.
